Sullivan Hotel Project

Sullivan’s growing tourism population drew the attention of hotel developers to engage new visitors from neighboring communities and states. Attracting thousands of visitors per year to Sullivan Lake, the downtown area ignited with new interest like beautification and new unique shops.

As the visitor population grows, data suggests a hotel is necessary for additional growth to Sullivan’s visitor attraction numbers. Considering Sullivan Lake’s capacity is met almost daily during the spring to fall months, there is need to accommodate visitors who would like to experience the amenities without a night of camping. Choice Hotels studied these opportunities and believed they can bring a new, successful hotel accommodation to the community.

The Sullivan Hotel will offer additional tourism amenities for West Central Indiana. It will incentive visitors to stay a while in our great region, and prompt exploration throughout West Central Indiana. West Central Indiana is fully anticipating a tourism boom, and this hotel will further our capacity to welcome visitors with warm arms.
