Ritz Theater

The Historic Ritz Theater is a staple for affordable entertainment in Parke County, and it is our hope that it continues to be known for that “for generations to come.” The READI grant would help fund infrastructure updates to major electrical components in the theater as well as allow the purchase of new equipment to be used for our live events, a project with a price tag of $500,000.

The future of the theater is of utmost importance to Parke Players, Incorporated, the community, and generations that come after us. We, as an organization, strive to keep the Ritz Theater up-to-date with the latest technology for stage shows, live events, and movies all the same. Parke Players, Inc has future plans to restore/repair the exterior of the building to include masonry work, roof repair/replacement, fresh paint, and to keep the facade of the building in the best possible shape for those we serve.

We love to show the community what it means to have a treasure such as the Ritz and to show that we care about the community around us.
